Excited to announce that I’ve passed all the actuarial exams required for the ACAS designation! I’m taking the next exam sitting off and plan to finally get back to this channel.

All,

I won’t be making videos for the next few weeks due to my exam date being October 28th.

I’ll return to “The Lab” afterwards to continue my agenda, focusing on excel/actuarial material since it seems to be most desirable.

For those of you taking exams:

1) what exam are you taking?
2) when is your exam?
3) are you working in actuarial?

Still blows my mind that these pass rates can be so low! I believe that getting below 50% of the pass mark yields a score of a zero! Can you imagine studying for months then receiving a zero??

I know plenty of smart people who dropped out of actuarial due to failing 3 attempts. Every single person I’ve met in this career is highly intelligent and to think that only a fraction pass is insane! It’s not like we’re talking about a random sample from the US population!

Note to you and myself, take every exam very seriously!! Failing can really set you back in your career and in your confidence level. Lastly, remember to try and enjoy the process 😉✌🏼

Enjoying some paid study time. It’s not for everyone but I love to keep learning.

Good luck to those taking exams and congrats to those recently passed! If you failed, get your ass back up and pass it next time! It’s worth it!
