The marauder should have remained a boss fight.
This enemy is the most unbelievably unfun, frustrating enemy I have ever experienced before in my life specifically in mods. He isn't horrible as a boss fight and the few times he's used in the vanilla base campaign outside of Master levels.
The marauder is an enemy that is not only basically invulnerable outside of his attack window, but he's also incredibly fast, and aggressive as well. He even has very powerful accurate range attacks and the most obnoxious close range attack I've ever seen. He's a horrible standard enemy if he's used in any encounter that's meant to be really challenging, he's only decent in novelty encounters where it's just him.
He can literally run up to you with his shield then SSG shot you and never have to open up. This isn't really a problem when it's just the marauder. But when there's the marauder and like 6 other super heavies it gets really obnoxious. He stops being a knight like enemy and starts being a wall or a walking hazard. He literally just becomes a constant area denial hazard preventing you from making progress in fights. You end up constantly running in circles slowly over time chipping down the other enemies until you can finally deal with him. It's a slow and grueling process that feels really obnoxious especially when he just swings his axe and dashes through another enemy to hit you. There shouldn't be enemies that are walls or super aggressive hazards that you have to run from. You should be a bulldozer running down anything in your path.
IDsoftware if you read this. Stop designing enemies that are meant to be challenging in few numbers. This isn't seikro or dark souls 3. This a horde shooter, the enemies should be challenging in high numbers, not made to be 1v1 enemies like it's a souls game.

I don't like the Taras Nabad Master Level. Here's why.
1. Tons of fodder. Frankly there's a bunch of pit stops in the master level where you do nothing but kill fodder, and a lot of the 'difficulty' comes from just having a bunch of annoying fodder spammed at you when fighting enemies. The fodder are also triggers for a lot of fights or for the next waves so it's really annoying having to kill them all. Gargoyle spam isn't fun to fight. (This is made worse by PB's hitbox being bugged so they're much harder to kill thus way more annoying)
2. Too long of arenas. The fights sometimes drag on way to long, and by this I don't mean there's too many heavies I mean the pacing in fights is pretty terrible. How so? Well they usually just have a few heavies at a time and tons of fodder, so you usually kill 3 or 4 heavies the next wave spawns and repeat. A lot of the time you'll just be spam repeat killing arachnotrons and hell knights and waves of fodder. It gets really boring.
3. The enemy compositions. A lot of the arenas just end up making you fight the same waves of enemies and it doesn't help that they're the really annoying ones like gargoyles prowlers, hell knights and marauders. There's a bunch of marauders in the level and a lot of the time they're accompanied with a bunch of really annoying fodder or fodder like enemies like prowlers. It's just really annoying. I don't want to fight marauders while having gargoyles and prowlers constantly interrupting the combat flow. To be honest I don't want to fight a bunch of marauders period. They're a really boring enemy and it doesn't help that they patched out feet ballista (which I've been told is a bug, same thing with PB hitbox being ruined).
4. The pacing. It's a master level not a normal level. The swimming puzzles combined with all the delayed spawns of heavies and waves of fodder just make it feel like it's taking forever to get to the actual action. It's fine having that stuff in the normal level, but I really don't want to do those puzzles again it just feels like I'm wasting my time. Elizabethany does a great job with her levels by just letting you skip all of them.
Tldr: Level sucks.
The archvile arena and the coin room are kinda cool tho.

Lets address the DOOMTuber problem.... Here's the REAL issue with all the doom youtubers..
Lol game has no content left to talk about duh. What are you gonna do make the 500th billionth guide on how to quick swap?
Jokes aside, there's pretty much no real new content to address and you'd be more or less just reinventing or going over the same points or discussions talked about. However small shitposts and joke videos are extremely popular in ALL communities across all platforms because it's quick, easy to digest, and sometimes it might even be funny.
So it ends up being really easy to make, while also being widely successful without taking much effort. It's a complete win win for the youtuber. Why bother coming up with another guide or analysis video of the gameplay that's just gonna go over topics or strats that's already at least decently known when a 10 second video gets you 10s to hundreds of thousands of views?
There's just simply nothing to really talk about or analyze that hasn't been done yet, or at least isn't already known by a lot of the core audience. I guess you could do videos on mods? But I feel like that'd become redundant really fast because they tend to end up having similar issues or strategies depending on what group of them you look at.

The cosmetic Microtransactions in Doom Eternal. Lets talk about it. A lot of free to play games use this as their form of monetization, I doubt DE will ever do any gameplay effecting microtransactions. But DE isn't a free to play game, so should they have MTX?
Microtransactions strictly cosmetic ones could be a good way for the devs to give an excuse to continue making free upcoming content for the game such as MLs, or potentially new modes like a HM or co op. But again you did pay for DE so I see why some people would have an issue with this. There's also the concept of paywalling future MLs like Cultist base. I don't like it especially not say 5 dollars for just one ML.
