Hello, cinema lovers,

Today, we reveal a hidden easter egg that no one outside I.T.H Productions spotted near the end of 'TUGS: A Bigg Retrospective.'

This touching moment where Sean Barrett "speaks" to Big Mac at the end was inspired and references the ending of ‪@GerryAndersonTV‬'s 2014 documentary film: 'Filmed in Supermarionation', when David Graham spoke to Parker.

This is an idea we had since the film began production and Sean Barrett was always the original TUGS voice artist we had in mind for this moment. Originally, we had the idea of having Big Mac's TV model reunite with Sean to get the full effect. Fortunately though, one of the I.T.H members owns the set of Big Mac's faces, so some semblance of Big Mac was there during the shoot of Mr. Barrett's interview, which worked to our advantage.

Some of you will have seen the recent teaser trailer of 'Lola.' Here's another behind-the-scenes update on the film - this time is a comparison of film presets.

In the two shots, you can see what the footage looks like when it was filmed and what it looks like when a film preset is added. The chosen preset we used was 'Fuji Film.'

The first shot shows what the scene looked like when filmed on a Canon camera (left) and with the 'Fuji Film' preset added (right) during post-production.

The second shot shows what the scene looked like when filmed on a Black Magic film camera (right) and with the 'Fuji Film' preset added (left).

'Fuji Film' will be the chosen film preset we aim to use in all our future films and we strongly recommend it for all filmmakers to use in their films, as well.

Happy New Year, film fans!
Hope you are all looking forward to what we have planned for the year.

Here's a first look at Lola, which comes to party the night away exclusively on ‪@YouTube‬ in 2024!

This new realist, drama short made by Insert Title Here Productions and in association with ‪@warwickshirecollege3279‬, brings together an incredible cast, including Fiona Kelly (Lola), ‪@lisablissitt1808‬ (Fiona), ‪@connieroath9276‬ (Sarah), Darcee Dutton (Tracey) and ‪@themattgrist‬ (Mitch).

Also joining the cast are Zoe Thacker (Anna), Layler Timbs (Dianne), Matthew Flanagan (Adam) and Hikaru Shinagawa (Matt).

Directed by Elliot KW, the new film sees Fiona getting a last-minute call to do a night shift at work. As night falls, her eldest daughter; Lola goes off to a house party - leaving her younger sister unguarded. Meanwhile, the party is in full swing and Lola manages to fit in well with the society. That is unfortunately when she unintentionally does some sleuthing and learns some devastating things about one of the guests, certainly making it a night to remember!

We are also raising money for ‪@nelsonsjourney6887‬, a charity the Button Moon Trust aided in August 2023. Nelson’s Journey supports children and young people in Norfolk who’ve experienced the death of a significant person. They also provide a range of resources and services and accept referrals from families and professionals for those who may need their support.

One year ago today marked one of our final shooting days on 'TUGS: A Bigg Retrospective'. Producer; Elliot KW went up north of the country to film the interview with Paul 'Spike' Knight of D.B.P Models & Effects, whilst director; Lewis Gilbert asked the questions to Paul via Zoom from his home.

Paul is the modelmaker who built Grampus, Hercules and Zug, as well as one of the main face sculptors on the series; mainly Sunshine and Fire Tug.

We all thank you, Mr. Knight for sharing all your stories about your time on TUGS!
