Hey guys! I swear I've not given up on making videos - it's just been a little difficult to make time recently due to job changes and also losing my recording space. My lightbox that I was recording inside of also died a death so that was a set back! I've since upgraded my equipment from a lightbox to a light rig so fingers crossed for better quality videos...
So, I've recently recorded a small video to try and get back into the swing of things and I've noticed while editing a few little issues - I've had to replace my recording equipment and I noticed while editing the lighting kept auto adjusting on my phone while filming and I only noticed during editing - another problem is my audio seemed to get slightly corrupted which threw me off because I did a sound check before filming and all was fine so no idea what happened there!
Long story short: I'm still going to upload this video with the lighting and sound issues (I hope I covered the sound issue up well enough with the music for it to not be too noticeable...) because if I don't it won't be a learning curve for myself! Not only that, since losing my recording space it's extremely difficult to prepare and record a video as I only have very small windows of time where I can use the now shared space, and even that's a rarity.
Anyway, I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year, may your yarn never tangle!!

Hey guys! I've not abandoned this channel don't you worry, I've finally been managing to squeeze in some crocheting here and there between both my jobs and I've finally finished editing Mew's video! I'll be scheduling the upload for this Saturday midday (GMT) so keep an eye out! I know at the end of the video (when it's released) I say weekly uploads - that's still on hold until I've completed my training for my main job and I'm working from home and have my video creating and editing schedule back on track :D
I just want to take a minute to thank all of you for being patient with me, I really do appreciate it <3
So, Mew is coming out on Saturday, Wooper video tutorial is in the works and I completed a prototype of Spheal as a request so that video is now in the pipeline too! I also found my Left Handed Worry Pet tutorial amongst my files so I'll release that too for all you lovely lefties next week :D
It's still a "release when they're ready" basis for my tutorials, I'm hoping to get a regular upload schedule set in stone again within a few months :)

Bit of an update regarding my channel - as some of you know I started a new job so I had to go down to 1 upload a week, well turns out I don't have much spare time at all during this training period as I still do have a part time job that's running in tandem 😅
Instead of stressing about my upload deadlines and pulling my hair out, for a short time I'll just be uploading when the video is ready and not being ruled by a strict schedule!
Hope you lovely bunch understand and please remember this is temporary, I'll be back on track and in full swing in a few weeks 🧶

Bit of a life update guys! I've only gone and landed myself a nice new jobaroonie! Anyway, as the training for this job will eat up a lot of my daytime (evening work, daytime training) I'm wondering whether to focus more on putting out the big patterns - Pokémon for example - just once a week and scrapping the Wednesday smaller uploads temporarily until my training period has finished?
What do you guys think? Twice weekly uploads of smaller tutorials (eg my keychains), OR one upload a week but of the bigger projects?

Back to normal uploads from today guys! Today's video was recorded before my injury, I just couldn't edit it in time for last week haha!
For the next few tutorials I'll be making smaller items / new stitch videos instead of the Pokémon patterns I've got planned as I've still not fully healed yet and would struggle to tackle a larger project. They're only postponed, not scrapped! I'm pleased to say I've got the Mew pattern all done and ready for the tutorial (requested by @vaultgirl145 ), I just need to push out my Grubbin pattern first as that was promised at the start of the year :P
For those wondering about my injury: I decided to pick a fight with a cactus. No joke. c:
Nah in all seriousness my giant St Bernard got her tail caught in one of my huge column cacti and I tried to grab her tail to free it, yet she jumped away and I ended up catching said Spikey Death Stick and getting loads of thorns rammed deep into the back of my hand and fingers. (A visit to the UTC was needed as I'm not joking when I say they went in DEEP.)
Doggo was fine, she still is fine and cactus is also fine - it survived and got moved well out the way from my dog's bushy butt.

So I had someone ask me if it's possible for me to do some left handed crochet tutorials / patterns, and with a bit of planning and the patience of a Saint my loving partner showed me how to mirror my videos in my editor! This means I can now provide mirrored "left-handed" tutorials from now on so no one gets left out! 😁🧶

Just a small update, I'm afraid that I'll have to postpone my new videos by another week as unfortunately I had a really bad turn on my health just after Christmas.
I'm past the worst of it but recovery is slow! I've not been able to crochet for 2 weeks and it's driving me crazy haha!
Anyway, new videos out hopefully from next Wednesday - I'm planning on being better before then 🧶

I'd love to share my favourite hobby of crocheting with the world and decided to take the leap and actually use my ancient channel for that very reason.
I'd also love to share my passion for nature in the future with some house plant videos and see how things go from there.
