The Business of Weddings
“A solid plan to get ahead with weddings”

- My $100K in mistakes, that you now don’t need to ever make. You’re welcome.
- How to START with nothing. What the real-world steps are to gaining traction.
- "Secret Weapon” to communication with clients and vendors.
- How to approach customers / provide value (ways you never thought of)
- Understanding what the market looks like, and how you are going to stand out.
- How to market in 2020 the RIGHT way. Step by step system.
- How to build an exit strategy for the future.

This course is for anyone who thinks they want to shoot weddings and make a business out of it. I have done this for 10 years fulltime. I have had good years and I have had terrible years that would cause bankruptcy. I have a tremendous amount of value I can offer anyone on the business side of shooting weddings. If I could have paid someone 10-years ago $299 to tell me what I know now... I would have a ton more money in the bank for many different reasons and I truly want to pass this on to others that can benefit.

The Beauty of Natural Light | Intermediate / Advanced
“All you need is a camera”

- Using (and controlling) available light for portraits.
- How to locate natural “reflectors” and use them to get amazing results.
- How to make a natural light photo look just like a flash photo.
- Advantages / disadvantages of natural light.
- Using reflector panels correctly.
-How to deal with color contamination (and what that is).

This course is for anyone who has already mastered exposure with their camera and now wants to shoot portraits outdoors with natural light. In this course I teach you how to create very impressive imagery with the sun in many different ways, some of which will look exactly like I used a flash.

Master of Light 102 | Advanced
“Creating stunning portraits with OCF”

- OCF Flash overview / setup (placement, direction, etc all in the field)
- Flash efficiency (how to get the most power from your flashes).
- Different flash modifiers and how / when I use them (shown w/model)
- Understanding “light falloff”
- Exposure process for OCF
- High Speed Sync Flash.
- Nighttime flash photography / gels (with people).

This is for people who really want to learn my style of OCF use and to be able to make images like I do in the field. A solid understanding of camera exposure is required, and a good understanding of flash ratios will really help. More advanced topics are covered here, such as dialing in the most efficient exposure for a given situation and why this matters, dealing with flash spill, using light fall off to your advantage and much more.

Master of Light 101 | Intermediate
“Taking control with flash”

- Understanding flash / ambient ratios and how to think in the field.
- Flash exposure “process”. Understanding two exposures. (manual mode only)
- Basics of on-camera flash use and how to use in practical ways.
- OCF with speedlights, using static objects to illustrate.
- OCF with speedlights, using a two-light setup to create dimension.

This course is for people who already have a solid understanding of how to make a great exposure with their camera in manual mode or are “natural light” photographers who are really wanting to do more with flash and off camera lighting. This is also a great course for people who are currently using automatic modes on their flashes (TTL) and are frustrated on the inconsistent results they get and want to take control for a faster post shoot workflow.

Understanding Lighting | Beginner
“The foundation to great photography”

- Learn to “see” the light. Identify different types of light in any environment.
- Learn how to shape light for different situations. (no gear needed)
- How to create texture and dimension to subjects with light.
- How to get clean color using kelvin white balance (not mixing temps)

This course is for people who want to understand the basics of light as it relates to photography. Often people skip over understanding some basic principles and try to photograph subjects, only to fail. Understanding the topics, I cover, will inspire you to “see” things in everyday life differently and will cause you to practice identifying and photographing in a verity of situations that you otherwise would never think of. This will impact not only images you take with your camera, but even on your phone.

Camera Control & Exposure | Beginner

- Recommended gear to start with photography.

- Camera setup / custom layout that will work for you.

- Understanding how to expose for “something”.

- Manual Mode. Everything you need to know. Quick & easy.

- Lens compression / distortion. (what this is and why this matters).

This course is for people who know that they don’t fully understand how to use manual mode on their cameras and really need some additional guidance on how to get a great exposure, every time. This is also a great course for people who want to start from the ground up and get up to speed shooting like a pro in the quickest amount of time possible. This is a very simple, honest and direct approach to taking control of your camera and getting better results out of the gate.
