It is with great sadness that I must report the passing of Michael Burke EI6AL. A true gent and a deeply knowledgeable man. The TV trade and amateur radio hobby will surely miss him.

Interesting video here from our friend Trev. A hand solution to the need for a pantry transmitter?

On family business in the UK and spotted this wonderful little TV shop in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicester. Went in and had a quick chat with the proprietor. It was opened in 1929 and was run by his father before him. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Hi Everyone, I've been very busy lately with a change of job and family commitments. However I've an announcement coming tonight.
P.S. it's nothing to do with buses.

Another oldie. The resistors read within a couple of ohms of 1K, incredible for their age and the fact they're only 20% tolerance to start with.

Hi and welcome to my channel. This channel is dedicated to my interest vintage electronics, particuarily vintage radio and TV. I spent many happy afternoons in a TV repair shop after school. I have a small collection of vintage radios, TVs and test equipment. I'm always happy to hear from people who were in the trade.
