I've been deeply contemplating getting back into drawing regularly. My struggle is this feeling of defeat knowing AI is doing art in seconds and making me as an artist feel devalued and creating feeling pointless.
Questions for artists:
What keeps you drawing when feeling this?
Some say that AI is noticeable. I agree it is. But AI is improving. What do we do when it gets better at imitating more art styles? And then some artists are drawing overtop of AI art fixing it and skipping the first 100 steps.
How are you all stayng positive through all this?
I've given a lot of advice over the years to artists - now I need yours. ๐

I'm excited to say I'll be streaming on Twitch on Saturday, Oct 28, starting around 6pm ET! It's been over a year. I want to continue working on this Sailor Moon emote set (which will have all of the original scouts)! Just a quick note to say that firstly my apologies for not posting any videos in a while and secondly the reason being I am in the process of moving. Long story short it's taken just over 5 months to organize, clean, sell the last house, live at my dad's house for a few months and finally get into the new house.
