Pastors are not who connect you to God. Jesus is who connects you to God. It's through faith in Jesus (and His death and resurrection) that we are forgiven of sin and reconciled to God. The pastors job is to help you in your walk with Jesus. To equip you and train you (to pastor you) however you need them to. They are not the boss, they are a fellow co-worker in spreading the gospel and making disciples of Jesus.

I came to trust in Jesus in a unique way. Stumbling upon Christian Hip-hop for the first time (which for real.. who knew that could be a thing? Christian and hip-hop?). It led me to reading the New Testament for the first time. Through reading scripture and prayer, God showed me why Jesus came to earth, died on the cross, and rose from the dead. Jesus did all that in order to free me from my sin, heal me, and reconcile me back to God.
When it finally clicked for me, I was all in. I placed his faith in Jesus. Long story short... God won my heart and saved me.
Since then I've graduated from UNCP, doing full-time ministry, and releasing music. I make music in hopes that God uses it to help and bless others like God used Christian hip-hop in my life.
