Hi I’m Priti Desai, a mixed media artist from Pune.
I enjoy a deep connection with art that helps me see beauty all around me! Tiny yellow flowers blooming on the pavement. The shadow of the windows on my walls, even the colourful clothes drying on the clothesline. Colours all around me give me a sense of comfort and simply make me Gratified!!
I’m a Commercial Artist (Graphics Design) and have worked in this field for more than 15 years, I always knew that someday I would work as a fine artist. Painting has always been my calling.
Art brings happiness, and I believe, Happiness is contagious.
Art for me is free flowing, it should not be restricted or limited to a certain medium or thought in a flow.
I love the use of words in my art, I love the way they help me connect with people in general, big or small. They help in starting a conversation, and I love it when I am able to connect with someone through my work. Know their stories and tell them mine :)
