I’m trying to fix broken electronics and keep them out of the landfill but I'm new to the world of electronic repair. Follow along as I learn and in turn I hope I can help you learn something useful too.
An issue facing all electronics is that of scarcity. Companies can only build so many products over their lifecycle and once that production stops, the numbers become limited. The more we can keep from being discarded and thrown away, the more we'll have in the future. The more working consoles that exist, the cheaper they'll be for all.
And that's the real kicker, keeping things cheaper for all. Repairing is usually cheeper than buying new and in the case of retro consoles, repairing is the only option.
So please subscribe and maybe together we can learn what it takes to fix more and waste less.
