Hey folks: I'm starting a new series of YouTube "Shorts" and Instagram videos, featuring drawings from our iPad for Architects community, and I wanted to know if I could share some of yours? You can see the idea here as it appears in a YouTube Short:

Dear members of the iPad for architects and designers community: I don't often get a chance to address you individually, but I love the community that has formed around this channel, and I was thinking, why don't we work together to grow that community in a more immediate, an interactive way that goes beyond YouTube video views and product purchases? So I thought it might be cool to create a weekly newsletter in a back-and-forth format, invite you all to ask questions or share whatever's on your mind during the week, then provide answers to those questions and comments in a regular weekly follow up. I really believe this is a chance for all of us to see the common questions we designers share, not to mention a selfish opportunity for me to really see what's on your mind, and how I might better serve you with products and videos that respond to your actual needs. (And your questions can be about anything, including hard questions about life and love, not just drawing on the iPad.) So without further ado, I open the floor to your questions, submittals of your work for constructive criticism, and any observations you wish to share with your fellow iPad for architects and designers community. For my part, I will answer each and every question, or if they have no specific answers, post them for others to think about. I'll be the curator, so to speak, but together, I think we can build something great. Just reply with your questions to jakers3+community@gmail.com and I'll take it from there. Serious question for you all (and yes, these are behind the scenes photos as I finish filming the new courses!) Q: How do you start designing? Pen on cocktail napkin? Pencil on back of envelope?
