If you can check out the BBCâs âHelmand: Tour of Dutyâ documentary, youâll see some of my CASEVAC footage about half way through from the perspective of the Welsh Guards we evacâd.

Just discovered this feature so I thought Iâd try it out and let anyone that sees this know Iâve appreciated all the support over the years and let you all know that my efforts ultimately fell on deaf ears within the proper military chain as it came to a special filming team. But the small pieces of high quality footage I was able to shoot have been used in a number of documentaries and films. The technology itself is advancing as rapidly as the prices are dropping, and the output from within the military has also improved dramatically so there is promise regardless of what I was attempting at the time.

The videos you'll find here are mostly edits of footage that I have shot over the course of my deployments to Afghanistan. I shot them in addition to my aircrew duties using a variety of increasingly high quality cameras in order to promote the concept of historical quality footage from our combat operations.
