Dear Christian, you don't need to ascend anywhere. There's nothing like ascension in Christianity.
It is rather demonic to think you can ascend.
Ascend to where?
One time, I made a critic about a popular chant and got a lot of backlash on the song.
One lady said exactly these words:
"...How do you want to explain my ascension with this song..."
And immediately, I thought, ascension?
What does that ever mean in Christianity?
Maybe it's the lack of right words and a product of wrong teaching, which I suppose is the case.
This is one of the reasons I avoid preachers who talk often about realms, channels, portals... the new sets of Apostles we have today in Nigeria do this and honestly, I avoid these preachers because the gospel of Christ preached in its simple form according to the scriptures is what we all must strive for rather than introduce some nuances and jargon which have no place in the Scriptures.
Keep it simple. Stick to the scriptures.
Leave portals, realms, channels, ascension, all these words that have no scriptural bearing.
I know someone is thinking and saying that just because these words are not in the Scriptures, it doesn't mean their ideologies are not Scriptural.
I agree... But I'm saying stick to the scriptures.
Learn to use only Scriptural terms. It's that simple!
Let's get back to the crux of this post...
There are 2 times in the scripture where God's people needed music to be able to function in their calling, and we saw from those scriptures that there was a fundamental problem with them.
The first is King Saul. He was disturbed and troubled by an evil spirit and needed a musician before he could be alright or act like the king he was. Each time David played him a music, he was relieved. Read more in 1 Samuel 16:14-23
The second is the Prophet Elisha. The king of Israel allied with the king of Judah and the King of Edom to fight the King of Moab for rebellion against him.
Before they launched out for battle, the king of Israel desired the word of the Lord from Prophet Elisha concerning the battle.
When he was asked to, Elisha demanded for a minstrel to play him music before he could deliver the Word of the Lord.
If you didn't pay attention to what transpired at this time before Elisha asked for a minstrel, you would think it's one of the ways the Prophet Elisha stirred up himself to function in his calling But you would be wrong to think that.
Here, Elisha was obviously angry. Anger had the better part of him here. Read his words before he asked for a minstrel. He had beef with the King of Israel because the king was used to consulting prophets of baal like he said, 'the prophets of your father and mother..."
2 Kings 3:15 - 14
Elisha said to the king of Israel, "What do we have to do with each other? Go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother." "No," the king of Israel answered, "because it was the LORD who called us three kings together to hand us over to Moab."
Elisha said, "As surely as the LORD Almighty lives, whom I serve, if I did not have respect for the presence of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you or even notice you.
He wouldn't even give the king of Israel any attention had it not been for the respect he had for Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah.
So we see it wasn't Elisha's regular way of activating himself to do what he's called to do. No, it wasn't.
No minister ever did that.
Music certainly has its role, but for a minister or even a Christian to rely on music to do what they've been called to do, it must mean there is something wrong.
If you still need music to pray or "get in the spirit," something is wrong. You need to check yourself.
We are asked to stir up the gift of God, which is in you, 2 Tim 1:6, not wait upon a music to do that.
We are asked to be filled with the spirit, not wait for a minstrel to play us a music. It says be filled with the spirit, and he shows us how
Ephesians 5:18-19
[18]And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
[19]Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
So instead of saying you need to ascend, say you want to get filled with the Spirit and don't start looking for who will sing or what music to play, start singing, start making melody in your heart. Do it. Don't wait for anyone to do it for you. It says speaking to yourself in psalms and hyms and spiritual songs... it is you doing something for and to you, not for and to someone else.

If the Lord Jesus was still walking on the face of this earth, trust me there will be a BBC documentary with title "SELF-PROCLAIMED SAVIOUR EXPOSED: MIRACLE WORKER OR MANIPULATOR? THE DARK TRUTH BEHIND THE MAN WHO DECLARED HIMSELF GOD AND DIED FOR OUR SINS!"
In his days on earth, he was called "Blasphemer"
Matthew 26:65
[65]Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
He was called a "Deceiver"
Matthew 27:63
[63]Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
He was also called a Prince of Satan "Beelzebub" or a "prince of demons"
Matthew 12:24
[24]But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
He was called a Demonic and a Madman
John 10:20
[20]And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
He was called a "winebibber" or "drunkard."
Matthew 11:19
[19]The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
So let it be nothing new to you when you hear folks call certain ministers of God with derogatory names. Don't even try to defend them.
Don't act like an Agbero for God and say, we no gree for anybody.
Don't even start with "the church is under attack" or "they are attacking the church."
It has been under attack and will still be under attack
It was that Prophet yesterday or that Pastor today that is in the headline for viciousness. Tomorrow, it could be your Pastor or MOG.
DON'T BE SURPRISED!
It is of necessity that those who are disciples of Christ will face persecution.
The Lord Jesus himself instructively said this
Matthew 10:24-25
[24]The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
[25]It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
You shouldn't even be worried for those they have called names for the sake of the Lord Jesus.
You should be concerned about You.
When will BBC and the rest start calling your name and dragging you for the name of the Lord Jesus.
That's what you should be looking forward to.
Leave the MOG's , the apostles, pastors and prophets whose name are mentioned.
When will yours be mentioned.
Luke 6:26
[26]Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
This year, majea decision to serve the Lord Christ until people start calling you names.
As you do, remember this
1 Peter 3:17
[17]For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

Have you noticed, nothing actually changed with the dawn of the new year?
Nothing really.
Indeed there are times and seasons that God set in motion for strategic occurrences on earth but in the realms of Spirit, there are no times and seasons.
The year will not come with anything. Don't expect anything of the year.
All that the new year should bring to you is the mindset of new beginnings, or consciousness of the times and seasons.
It's alright to have a personal or corporate theme for the new year but don't think that that's what the year ought to deliver to you.
It is not your year of "anything" actually. It's the year you have to make "anything" happen.
It's the year, you have to make full proof of your calling and ministry.
It's the year, you have to use the coupons of the scriptures to redeem those values and realities in Christ.
It's the year you have to commit to consistent productivity and insist on absolute victories.
The year doesn't come with anything. You are to make something out of this year.
Isn't this year looking good already?!
Happy New Year

There are so many crazy songs we sing in our churches today that don't make any spiritual sense for the Christian.
On my WhatsApp status, I addressed how that song A Yah Yah (I heard it was sang by Victoria Orenze) is a Nonsense song. It doesn't make spiritual sense neither does it make any realistic sense. They said its a chant. We don't do chant in Christianity.. No they said it's a spiritual song because you don't know the meaning of what you are saying. No Brah like the Gen Z's will say... It can't fit for spiritual songs. It is premeditated. You already know what next to say, thus it can't be spiritual. You know the pattern. It's nonsensical. With all due respect to Victoria Orenze.
Someone also brought my attention to a song that says, If I don't pray, the devil will make a mess out of me. That's ridiculous! That's not what the bible says. It's scripturally wrong. The bible says that once you are in Christ Jesus you have overcome the world and Satan. The devil cannot make mess out of the Christian because of his identity with Christ. Can the devil attack the Christian, yes. Can he defeat him, no. Can he be afflicted? Yes. Does that mean the devil has defeated him or make mess out of him? No!
The only one who can make a mess out of a Christian is himself. Read that again.
That's why the bible says that we hold fast to our confession of faith. There's no where the Bible suggest that of we don't pray, the devil will make mess out of us. It's not true.
Those who hold on to this always use the words of Jesus wrongly. They say, even Jesus said, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
First thing here is who is Jesus addressing? Certainly they were not Christians. They didn't have the identity of Christ in them. Jesus also thought them to pray, forgive us our sins as we forgive those who trespass against us. You see that's not the understanding of forgiveness in Christianity.
In Christianity, we were forgiven even before we could have any sense to forgive or not forgive anyone. What I mean is, in Christianity, God's forgiveness is not hinged on us forgiving those who trespass against us.
So that prayer is not a Christian prayer. The same thing goes for "Pray that ye enter not into temptation."
Secondly, it says, enter not into temptation... It didn't say messed up by temptation or messed up by the Devil.
James explains temptation as something you are drawn into as a result of your own lust. As much as we like blaming devil for everything evil, we must understand that the devil can only have any influence in our lives only and except we allow him. Thus, before you blame the devil, blame you! Not because you didn't pray and that made Satan powerful to mess you up. No. But because you gave in to his attacks through fear and unbelief.
In our weapon of Warfare, did you notice, nothing like prayer was mentioned. However, we've got the most powerful attacking weapon which is the word of God.
If I confess more of God's word more than I pray, I'm sure of Victory always.
The devil is not disturbed that you didn't pray. No. You can pray kilimanjaro and yet your life will be in a mess. The devil is disturbed about your faith in his Word. He's disturbed about the Word of God in you. That's what he's always after, the Word, Your faith, because faith comes by the Word.
Jesus explains that to us in the parable of the sower. The epistles of the apostles teaches us the same.
The bible says, without faith, you can't please God. It didn't say, without it prayer. Yes certainly faith in God and he his Word will cause you to pray but prayer now has a new meaning.
Prayer is not for Warfare. Prayer is primarily a fellowship with God. It is you talking to your heavenly father.
How did Jesus pray? Always whenever he prayed, he was communing with God. How did the disciples pray? They never used prayer for Spiritual Warfare. This might be strange but it's true. They prayed as intercession. They prayed as communicating with God. They never prayed to deal with the enemy. But today, we do that and I'm not about saying we've got to stop. But when it comes to dealing with the enemy, they simply used words in the Authority in the Name of Jesus. They didn't have to say, let's pray. I hope you get the gist. It's not about praying. It's about using the word. That's what the devil is most scared about. There are people who pray rubbish and they can do this for hours. You say, is it possible to pray rubbish... My dear, it is. Jesus said it's possible to pray amiss. It's possible to pray VAIN repetitions.
Wow!!! I didn't know I was going to preach when I started typing. But here you go.
Hold fast our confession of faith... Not hold fast our prayer. Pray that ye enter not into temptation. Though not for Christians, because we glory in afflictions. We don't pray that temptations shouldn't come. No. We glory in it. It's food for us.
It's babyish to say, pray that Satan does not mess you up... How can he? Such brat! Do you know what power we've got? Without praying, he's afraid of us. He's terrified of us.
In case you are wondering, I pray a lot. But it has never crossed my mind neither will it ever cross my mind that because I did not pray, the devil is going to mess me up... Never!
I know who I am. I am a Victor always. I hold fast to my confession of faith. I will rather confess what God's word has said concerning me all day and walk accordingly than "Pray".
By the way I pray online every midnight, if you want to join me, chat me up on WhatsApp by clicking the link in the comment section of this post.

I remember preaching to a JW. He was so cool and nice until I said Jesus is God. He insisted that Jesus is the Son of God and by that he meant that Jesus is the first and the greatest creation of God. He got mad when I showed him several scriptures even from his bible that proved Jesus is God. If he had a stone, he would have stoned me. He threatened me never to come to his place ever again.
But what does the scriptures really say about Jesus. I have the New World Bible and noticed a lot of things were changed to make Jesus appear as just a creation of God and not necessarily God. I love JW so much especially their persuasive way of "witnessing for Jehovah." But I love challenging wrong ideas and thoughts, strongholds that have held sway in the minds of people. That's what the Lord has asked me to do. Bringing down every thoughts to the obedience of Christ.
I also remember many years ago in school, a moslem asked me to show him where in the bible Jesus emphatically stated he was the Son of God... I had only heard people say Jesus is God but couldn't prove it.
Then one day, I came across the scripture where Jesus emphatically claimed he is the Son of God and I wished I had known this then. That's why I decided to create this video for you... Watch here 👇
