Rosenfeldās Bagels was conceived in 1973, when founder Marc Rosenfeld tried a local Boston bagel offered by one of his Suffolk University School of Law friends as a snack during a late night study session. āI can do betterā, he told his friends.
Today, Rosenfeld's is a local legend. With a 50 year history of serving Newton, Massachusetts and the Greater Boston area, we are proud to keep alive the tradition of making food the old-fashioned way. At Rosenfeldās, we boil our bagels, hand-make every challah loaf in-house, and hand-mix all of our spreads. We do this because we know there is no substitute for taking the time to do things right. Itās also why we are Kosher certified ā because the care and attention it takes to do things the right way result in a better quality product for everyone.
