Welcome to a history lesson in a particular genre of UK Dance Music which started around 1995 & was popular up until around 2001. Im talking about a British Dance Music Genre that was known as UK Garage. A genre that was very popular, particularly from 97/00, at a time when i used to DJ on London's Best Pirate Radio Stations and Nightclubs.
The days of UK Garage Music were absolutely Epic, i can remember always wanting to go to all the well known raves like 'Sun City', 'Pure Silk' , 'Garage Nation' , 'La Cosa Nostra' and seeing all the headline DJ's like EZ, Norris 'DaBoss' Windross, Ramsey & Fen etc etc! but back in 97 through to 2000 when it was all happening, i was way too young to go to raves, so had to settle with buying the cassette tapepack's from Big Apple Records in my hometown Croydon!
