I need help in identifying the CBS affiliate station on this video I have finished editing, but probably won't upload until late December since it is holiday themed and, as a heads up, it's an episode of Pee-wee's Playhouse. I did a little research and my guess is that it could possibly be KTVL in Medford, Oregon, but I can't be positive because the quality of the video is grainy, and there were no other station IDs throughout the rest of the video. If anybody knows what this station is, please let me know.

Coming up on the first week of September, three videos of commercials on the local Fox station WXTX-TV 54 in Columbus, Georgia. Parts 1 and 2 are both a half hour, while part 3 is only ten minutes. Part 1 will go live on Labor Day since many of us will be off work for the day, and parts 2 and 3 will go live on Thursday September 4th and Friday September 5th. Hope everyone enjoys those videos coming up in two weeks.

This is still on hold, and hopefully I will get back to this someday as soon as I get more ideas. I'm also hoping this has been entertaining.

I'm still on break, but I need to address something that tends to get annoying. Every video I have ever posted to this channel were all from Archive, about 98% I'd say as some were past uploads from years ago I managed to download in time before the original user either closed their account or was suspended. I always include the original user who made the original upload to Archive to give them credit, and it's the first thing I write in the video's description. Unfortunately it seems that to this day, some don't read the description of any video because I get asked a lot where did I find the video as if I went to a thrift store, and I get asked if I still have the video so I can "mail it to them." What can get even more annoying is that some assume you have a VHS with commercials recorded off a TV channel as well as an old VHS player and software to transfer the content from tape to computer. I still don't have any of those, and sometimes some comments come from incredibly impatient users who are that desperate to see something from an old TV channel.

Look, I know there are many things I still hope to see again someday such as the remaining Flintstones bumpers from TBS with footage from The Land That Time Forgot, and The Disney Channel's 1991 Halloween lineup. But I am not going to constantly go around and ask a lot of users if they have said footage because I don't want to come off as desperate. The best I can do, and anybody else has to do, is just wait. Sometimes waiting and patience can help.

I thought I'd point this out because this has been getting way out of hand the two years I've been on YouTube. I plan to take one more week off next week and be back with more content as I did manage to find some videos on Archive to share. Plus a possible birthday video for a former Barker beauty that I hope to make but the song of choice might get the video blocked which I never get a break from that.

Friendly reminder that as of today, I will be on break until around the end of August. Also a friendly reminder about the Disney Channel Halloween 1989 recreation project. I'm still looking for volunteers to help with some things such as the text, some animations, and footage from Blackbeard's Ghost. Message me at misteroldschoolguy@gmail.com if you want to help out.

For #womancrushwednesday, which of these Barker's Beauties was your favorite? Janice Pennington, Holly Hallstrom, or Dian Parkinson? Mines has been Holly for the longest time. It can only be these three. No additions count.

Rest in peace, Tom Lehrer. The man who gave us The Elements, Poisoning Pigeons In The Park, and The Masochism Tango along with many other classic funny songs.

Have you seen this cheap animation from Medicare? I've seen better animation in Clutch Cargo.

I will be on hiatus in August, with the acception of two videos I scheduled for the 1st and 2nd to go live. Some major changes are coming up in August that I won't be able to edit and post any videos for awhile. I hope to be back before the end of August, and my only hope is that with October to December coming up, the Internet Archive will have holiday themed videos I can find because not much has been happening. So if you don't see that many videos in August, you'll know why. Busy busy busy.
