This weather 😫… I was finally able to bring my Violetas in bloom inside and covered the rest of them with a cloth and brought them under my terrace. Violetas was all I moved. Hoping everything else survives out there…. Temps are dropping to 36 degrees tonight. Good luck everyone!

Ok guys… young Iguana or chameleon?? 🦎 Photo 1 I took when I saw it amongst my orchids. It’s the best I could do. Some are saying “chameleon” what do you think?Photo 2 I found online of a “young Iguana” photo 3 is indeed a “cute”chameleon… Chameleon will still scare me BUT I’m pretty sure it was a young Iguana. Not fun seeing this lurking in my Orchid section this morning.

At this point I am done with your company!!! I can get help on how to nourish your sick plant from other reputable growers. SO orchids will be a company I will never buy from, promote or show on my channel. Unfortunately over 26,000 orchid collectors have seen how SO orchids handled this matter. I gave you a chance to make it right! You gladly took $350 from me and got rid of a sick orchid! SHAME ON YOU!!!

Like most living things, they can deteriorate if proper care and precautions are not taken.
Miami had many days of below 60° since January 14th, according to wunderground.com, and they are especially sensitive to colds when they are in bloom.
Yellowing of leaves can also be caused by other factors, such as incorrect use of fertilizer and other chemicals.
If the plant had these issues when you first bought it, you could have returned it that same weekend and we would've given you a full refund.
Yet, the orchid has been in your care for a number of weeks and you had a chance to enjoy its flower and scent. At this point, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. But feel free to bring the plant to Boca and we'll give you pointers on how to nurture it to good health.
