The graphic design of Alien Isolation doesn't get enough recognition IMO. The game's visuals always dominate discussions about the game but a lot of thought clearly went into the visual language seen throughout and used in the marketing.

So the original Gears of War, or at least the Ultimate Edition, is getting a remaster and coming to PS5. If you owned a digital version of the Ultimate Edition prior to May 5th it'll be a FREE upgrade too! I played it recently on Xbox and have some mixed feelings about it. The next video on my channel will be a game review, I promise! I just needed some time in between reviews to have a break and sink some hours into a couple of different games I wanna cover. I will be doing a re-review of Isolation (yes, I may have gone overboard with this one) but I have another survival game up before that.

Hey all!
I've been snowed under with work and life the past month so I'm taking a short breather to re-energise. I have a bunch of videos I want to make on games but the next couple will be hardware reviews simply because my backlog is so big and there've been a couple of opportunities that I didn't want to pass up. The 50/50 split will resume in time though.

I focus on game reviews and re-reviews of both new and retro games. I also review accessories like controllers and headsets. Being a designer, I occasionally deep-dive games, analysing how they’re built and specifically looking at things like user interface design and user experience.
