Got to volunteer at the bus shop today! 😃 (we had a virtual day at school, so I took the opportunity to do some volunteering!)
Here's some explanations of the pictures:
*Picture 1 - Put a new trespassing sticker on bus 16-06 since the old one was faded from the sun.
*Picture 2 - Put 2 new decals (Watch your step & No eating or drinking) on bus 16-24 (the bus I ride)
*Picture 3 - Finally got the front hand rail installed on bus 16-24! This hand rail came off a old morgan county bus (2005 IC CE300)

What do you think of this fire extinguisher decal?
I bought it and put it on a 2017 & 2016 IC CE bus. We are gonna try to get more of these decals ordered next summer! The transportation director also liked the decal 👍

I'll try to film a 2016 IC CE morning route tomorrow! My bus driver keeps the exhaust brake switch on now because of the nice way it sounds. This is gonna be a good video!

NEW INFORMATION! 💯
The next new bus we are getting is now CONFIRMED to be the 2025 3rd gen IC CE bus! We are getting the handicap version, but it's now confirmed we are getting 3rd gens.
My prediction is that the number for the bus will be 25-21. This bus is supposed to replace 06-21 (2006 Thomas EF).

Apparently, the land this bus sits on is currently for sale!
Shockingly, the owner of this property is the owner of Mayfield Trucking (the guy who got me handrails off a CE!)
I may ask the owner if he has any plans to sell this bus or let me know its mechanical condition. It's got a CAT 3208 with a automatic transmission.

The field trip I was supposed to be going on Friday is supposedly full :(
Though, my teacher said we got more field trips coming up anyways! We still have a huge field trip around January where we are going to Auburn, AL. Still excited about that! 👍
