I donated $3,000 to the LAFD to support efforts related to the Los Angeles wildfires.
Why did I donate?
There are so many places in need of help, like the Russia-Ukraine war or conflicts in the Middle East, but I chose LA because one of my family members lives there. Thankfully, they’re safe, but their home was heavily damaged, and they’re going through a tough time. Along with helping them directly, I wanted to give back to the city too.
I’m not from the U.S., so I wasn’t sure where to donate, but PayPal recommended the LAFD (Los Angeles Fire Department), so I went with that. Maybe there are better organizations I could’ve supported, but this felt right at the time.
Honestly, I’m just a small-time music producer trying to live a decent life beyond just making money. I know I’m far from perfect, haha, but I wanted to do something good for once. I wish I could donate millions like celebrities, but right now, I don’t even have $500 to my name. This donation was basically everything I had. Now I’m just waiting for my next payout from DistroKid, lol.
Why am I telling you this?
Because that $3,000 came entirely from royalties you all helped generate by streaming my music. So in a way, this donation isn’t just from me—it’s from all of us. I thought it’d be nice to share that good news with you guys. 😊
If any of you are in LA and going through tough times, I hope you find strength and get through it. Life’s about helping each other out, right?
I know my music releases have been delayed because of personal and family stuff, but I’ll do my best to pick up the pace now. Let’s all crush it in 2025! 💪
