Something big happening around Patreon. I don't know how many of you are supporting different channels but I just checked that vast majority of sailing channels I follow are using Patreon's "per-creation"-subscription model.
Changing that to monthly will change the tier prices dramatically!

For example if you've signed now to a channel with $5 per video, in future it will be like $20 per month.
Even though that is basically the same if they provide weekly videos. But it LOOKS dramatically different! I can definitely see how that lowers the Patron count...

Fortunately I still have only few dozen Patrons and I can make the change probably pretty easily. But those that actually make a living through it may be in big trouble..! 😰

Any thoughts? Maybe from some fellow creators?

Been starting to actually think the rig setup for SeaCamel. As you may know, there will be two freestanding rotating carbon masts. Not a standard thing by any means. (one of the reasons I'm building this in the first place)

I've also been in contact with the pioneer of art, Eric Sponberg. He sent me video of this boat which I hadn't seen before. Very interesting rig with all the structures, solar panels etc. However I might want to go a little bit simpler setup without furling booms.

What do you think? Isn't it cool?! 🀩

I’ll put this Instagram image here as well for a change. Few weeks back I finished this frame number one and was tempted to try it on the boat how it fits. And it does fit! And looks amazing, I think! 🀩

In latest Delos video they're tossing thoughts about Delos 2.0.
I think SeaCamel has many of those ideas already in place!
Now I got this crazy idea - should I make a quick design (and video about it) for Delos 2.0? Scaling up SeaCamel and trying to check all their boxes for perfect vessel? Just for fun!

Hello there! It's been a small break again, but I'm happy to tell that next video will come out on Friday. (To my Patrons on Tuesday though! 😁)

Anyway, here's image from couple of weeks ago. Insulation is done and I also installed some lights to the roof πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ’‘

Now it's nice to push forward with the build! πŸ₯°

Hello there!

The work for the shed insulation have been continuing during these couple of months (it's been cold and ... cold.)
But!! I literally hour ago attached the last remaining piece of the insulation! So it's complete!

Meanwhile when waiting for the next video, there's this QA + Plans update video from couple years back. There's a lot of new subscibers here and I suggest you go and take a look of this to get better idea what's going on in here! The plan of the interior is still pretty much like this!

Thank you for all of the supportive comments on the previous video. ❀️

We took some time off with my friends and went to snowboarding for a few days to Northern Finland. -17 to -23°C was OK there! 😎

A sneak peek from the shed. Today - literally minutes ago I cut first pieces of the boat bulwarks. Just to cheer up the mood and motivation a little! πŸ˜€

Hopefully getting some time to edit next video soon…
