Natural hair update: PIC 1....press and trim
So y’all know i was always cutting my hair (not trimming but CUTTING it) 🤣 i even did it a few times on YouTube but i decided to stopped cutting it, get trims every 3 months. My boyfriend challenged me to actually grow it out so that’s my goal for 2020.....i’ve only been wearing braids and faux locs this year(i haven’t had bundles in since February and i only worn them for 3 days for a wedding 😭) i keep my scalp moisturized while my braids are in. I do NOT keep my braids in longer than a month, (sometimes i go a month in a half) only because my texture doesn’t do well when i leave braids/locs in a long time(this prevents my hair from shedding a lot). I DO NOT take any pills/vitamins. I have the wild growth oil in the yellow bottle in the house but i DO NOT use it faithfully. I may use it a week before i take my braids out or something but the formula doesn’t agree with my scalp anymore so i just have it in my hair product stash.❤️ I’m trying to get my length back to pass bra straps (before i went crazy and kept cutting it 😭) so we will see how long it gets by the end of the year. 💇🏾♀️💆🏾♀️ next pic will be my hair styled.
