I feel it is not Netflix fault. Liam is just a shit actor and Cavil should have never left. He thought he was going to be Superman again and they fucked him. So there is a little bit of selfishness to his actions. Even if he was Superman again, he could have squeezed in another season or two, 8 to 10 episodes only, come on! Much like Sarah Michelle Gellar when she started getting movie roles, she thought sheโd really make it big in that Avenue vs in the small screen.
Cavil had theatrical releases, then went to small screen and then when the Superman thing came up, he though now is his chance to be back on the big screen. Now he just fucked himself. He fucked the fans over as well. I had no issue with the little changes moving away from the books. I just liked the show and he was more like Geralt from Witcher 3 that I played. He sounded pretty accurate as well.
I will watch out of curiosity and to see how it all ends, and perhaps to laugh at the direction of the show now because of Liam. You suck Liam, you should have not accepted out of respect and should have had the foresight that youโd fuck it up and you would never measure up to what Cavil put before you. Thanks a lot shitdick.

Action and fighting may look bad ass, voice of Geralt a joke. โLetโs Fucking Move!โ ๐. Very bad, no accent and not really what heโd say. The personality between Cavil and this fucknut are very different. Just as David Carradine said in the film Circle of Iron โNot the same Qord.โ But in this case, โNot the same Geralt.โ You really should have stayed Cavil. Even if there were creative differences, and it would not be โtrue to the booksโ, it still would have been better than this. I wish he would have thought of the fans to see this through. Itโs not like heโs being cast for current films now. Itโs very limited now what he can get, unlike the old days. This way, Cavil could at least still be earning a paycheck, you fucked up sir.
Much like Sarah Michelle was with Buffy series. She wanted out because she thought she was going to be a huge big time movie star (and to some extent she is, but not in the way she probably envisioned. Iโm talking Audrey Hepburn caliber is probably what she was thinking) but it never really took off. And where did that lead her? Back to Buffy.
