Hello everyone! I just wanted to give you all a heads up on the status of the next DC Chronicles, Season 2 Episode 3. The entire project since day 1 has had no shortage of bumps in the road and we have hit another. We came out of the gates fast with Episode 1 & 2 and up to this point we've made significant progress on Episode 3, however productivity has hit a new low due to several factors.
With each new episode our production becomes significantly more advanced and complex. We're always striving to push the boundaries of what can be done with Fallout 3 both cinematically as well as technically. This by itself is not a problem - in fact it's been a great philosophy that we've had since the beginning and as a result with each passing episode we raise the quality bar even higher.
The challenge we are facing is this raised bar. And while we believe in ourselves to be able to get over this hurdle (as we've done many times before), this has also fostered as a development problem with our super small amount of resources. Right now we simply do not have enough experienced and dedicated hands on deck to be able to do the work required to get these episodes done in a timely manner.
Does this mean the show is cancelled? I would say not likely. But it does beg the question - when and how are we going to get over this huge hurdle and quality bar we've created for ourselves?
