Used this majestic machine for some filming today 🎸
Of the many signature models I've owned (12 or so!), this is the very first one I got my hands on: the BMG Red Special.
I've been neglecting it for the last few years, but every time I go back to it, I'm reminded of how sweet those Trisonics sound through a Treble Boosted AC30.
I'd love to splash out one day and get a authentic equivalent, but for my needs at this time, this thing is perfect.
You can really see the effect of using a sixpence over the years - not only on the pick guard but the strings themselves.

A big thanks to Mrs Shreds & the Shreds family who pooled together to snag me this little beauty for my birthday ⭐️
I’ve been on a KISS bender lately, and have been longing for my very own Paul Stanley Ibanez Iceman. It's always been an eye catcher to me, especially with the white binding outlining that ferocious shape.
I gotta say, this thing RIPS. Even with 10s on it, it’s a total shred machine. It’s definitely among the best axes at its price point that I’ve played. As with every other guitar that comes through the shop, the legends at Modern Musician performed a setup & QC check on it, so I knew it would play great out of the box. If you're in AUS, I can't recommend buying from them enough.
Looking forward to filming some videos with it. What KISS songs would you like to see covered?
