๐STEP 1: APPLY
Submit your Group name, Main POC Name, Email, Phone and your 1 dance performance video toย katchupofficial@gmail.comย by September 11th, 2022. Each video should be between 5 and 7 mins.
*Please note that there will NOT be a competition for singers.
๐STEP 2: SCREEN & SELECT
Our team will screen all applicants and choose up to 6 dance groups based on the online vote (50%) and judgeโs point (50%), allowing them a spot on the main stage โMusic Tankโ at 49thLos Angeles Korean Festival. Those 6 selected dance groups will be announced via email on Sep 17th.
*Likes of the video on โKatchup_officialโ YouTube channel (9/12- 16) will count towards the videoโs online vote.
๐STEP 3: PARTICIPATION IN โMUSIC TANKโ at 49th Los Angeles Korean Festival
The โMusic Tankโ will be held on Sep 23rd at Seoul International Park (3250 San Marino St, Los Angeles, CA 90006).
Stage time: 8:30pm โ 10:00pm
Rehearsal session: TBD

Thank you all for those who participated, and we would like to give a BIG congratulation to the winners of 2022 The Korea Daily Student Video Contest!
We decided our finalist based on the points from the online poll (20%), and judges' points (80%). The finalists will receive the scholarship, and opportunity to participate as a 'JoongAng Ilbo Student Creator'(JCS) in Fall semester.
The Korea Daily will continue to host a event like this to give an opportunity to Korean-American students to unfold and unlesh their cretivity and cultures! Thank you!
