Hey everyone, I just wanted to apologize for making a mistake with yesterday's episode. To be honest, I am very embarrassed that I missed my mistake and did not catch it well before the episode came out. I got overly excited about the Glimpse of Tomorrow deck and concept, and I misread the card while building the deck, not realizing in my excitement that you are revealing "that many cards from the top of your library" and not just revealing permanents off the top.
I should have caught the mistake well before the episode came out, and I will work hard in the future to not make these kinds of mistakes again. I want to thank those of you who caught the mistake and who reached out to let me know.
After being made aware of the error, I did work diligently to try and come up with a solution for the deck to work in a similar way, but in the end it really couldn't be salvaged, so I ended up taking the episode down entirely. Things have been a bit hectic with everything around the Close Quarters gameplay reboot. On days like yesterday, getting the studio set up and ready, recording, double checking footage, it's nearly a full day endeavor, and it can lead to some early starts and long nights. And of course that doesn't even include editing, which takes up the bulk of the time on other days.
Regardless, being busy with that kind of work is no excuse, and mistakes like this shouldn't be happening. Again my apologies and moving forward I will work harder to not make these same mistakes in the future.
