It's been a couple of days with it and I'm finding that the tablet acts like a phone. It remains on in the background after you close the lid/put it to sleep/press the power button. It doesn't go into hibernate mode like a laptop would, and that option is turned off by the manufacturer...meaning the battery only lasts about 10 hours. So, being a techy guy, I created a cmd line that puts the tablet into hibernate and told my wife to press the shortcut (which I pinned to the taskbar) before closing the lid. That did the trick. Again it's only if you're using it more like a laptop and less like a tablet because (obviously) all notifications are turned off by doing this
