Hey everyone,
I’ve been meaning to write this for a while, and I hope you don’t mind me getting a bit personal here. Over the past few months, I’ve been dealing with some significant family and personal matters that I just couldn’t ignore. Honestly, it’s been a tough time, and stepping away from creating content was something I needed to do for my own well-being and for my family. I didn’t want to just disappear, but I also wasn’t ready to talk about it at the time.
The good news is that I’m slowly finding my way back, even though things are still a bit of a work in progress. You might see me posting content a little more gradually than usual as I ease back into things, but I’m excited to reconnect with you all and get back to doing what I love.
I’ve got some cool projects in the works that I can’t wait to share with you. I’ll be diving into some retro handheld console mods, doing a fun N64 hardware mod, and continuing my reviews of retro gaming handhelds. On top of that, I’ll also be working on some hacking videos for consoles like the PSP, PS Vita, and Nintendo DS, along with a few others. It’s going to be a fun mix of content, and I hope you’re as excited as I am!
I can’t express how grateful I am for your patience, your support, and your understanding during this time. Knowing that this community is here has meant so much to me, more than I can put into words. I’m looking forward to sharing more with you soon.

This is not an affiliate link but Anbernic has agreed to send me an early review unit which I will have later this week. Although the device looks promising, waiting for some reviews to pop up may not be a terrible idea to get a good feel for any potential issues or drawbacks. I intend to make some videos and possibly do a live interactive stream to demo the console. If there is something specific you'd like to see, let me know!

Retroid Pockets response to the issue some have experienced related to their trigger button spring failure. Good on them for standing behind their products, and offering an extended 2 year warranty for all devices shipped prior to today (the fix).

Thanks for checking out the channel. The name Restalgia comes from the two words "Retro" and "Nostalgia". I make videos about the sometimes forgotten and not so forgotten items from our past with a focus on video games, arcade machines, retro emulation and the like.
