I have VERY EXCITING news, friends: Larissa--everyone's favorite shop mate--and I have officially launched a brand new channel, @WoodworkingisHard !!
This new adventure is all about the absurd predicaments we find ourselves in whilst working in the shop together, from discussing how best to cut a particular joint to asking each other's design thoughts to waxing absurd about life and why we chose to do this woodworking thing for a living. It's fun, it's silly, and most importantly, it's woodworking-centric.

I won’t get too sappy here with a long monologue, nor get too far out ahead of my skis and call for the next 100k. But I do want to say thank you to each and every one of you. Because without you, I wouldn’t have this platform, this opportunity, or—importantly—this silly little plaque that brought me an unreasonable amount of joy.
So thank you. Truly.

Hey friends, quick August update.
I’m taking a brief respite to both recharge the batteries and see some new places. Consequently I will only put out one video in August (coming in hot next week). I think it’s important to take some time every now and again to reflect, reorient, and recharge. Not to mention find inspiration in all the beauty that exists out in this big ol’ world of ours. Cause there’s lots of it. All over the place. I hope y’all find a moment to do the same, regardless of where you are.
So I’ll tap out until September. Until then, go make a thing. Or take some time off, if that’s what you need. And try to enjoy it if you can.
