This 18th century building holds historical stories in the galleries that features important figures in Barbados such as Rachel Pringle and London Bourne, and their entrepreneurship as freed people of colour. We also share the importance of banking and the shift from silver and gold into the paper currency we all use today as well as exploring the museum buildingās own history as a former Freemason Lodge and first Harrisonsā Free School.
