Heres the lore drop y'all have been asking for!!
— Nials Lynch/Pressure OC —
Nials grew up in a middle-class family in Vermont, USA. Their father wanted Nials to be independent when they were older, so he and Nials’ mother put effort into teaching her things such as cooking, cleaning, and other life skills from a young age. Once, when Nials was around twelve or so, the family car broke down, and their father invited Nials to watch him fix the car, as well as teaching them the basics of car mechanics. This awoke Nials to an interest they didn't know they had up to this point - motor vehicles and driving.
Nials was the age of twenty when they got their G1 license, and they were ecstatic. Their parents forbade them from driving alone, as they feared them accidentally getting in trouble, as well as the fact that it was just the law that you needed a fully licensed person in the vehicle with you. However, being the stubborn person they are, Nials disobeyed their parents' worry.
In early 2025, when Nials was twenty-one, they got impatient and went against their parents’ wishes. Late one night when both their mom and dad were asleep, Nials stole the same family car and went on a little trip, full of themself and overestimating their skill.
They went on a small two-lane highway that was abandoned by the city and barely ever used anymore, meaning it was empty. Or, at least mostly. It was a pretty foggy night, and the road was pitch black due to the lack of other drivers around, meaning Nials couldn't see much of their surroundings. They were having a good time until their luck ran out.
A young cyclist was riding in front of them, returning home from his job. His bike lacked the reflective gear it was supposed to have, and he was wearing dark clothing, meaning he was invisible to Nials until it was much too late. The car struck the cyclist, killing him on impact and causing Nials to lose control of the vehicle. They went off the road and hit a tree, causing their head to go right through the windshield because the airbag failed, nearly killing them as well, however by some stupid luck, they managed to survive, though with severe head damage and other health consequences.
Nials’ parents disowned them when they learned what had happened, and Nials was arrested for several things, namely manslaughter, breaking their G1 license restrictions, and lawsuits from both their parents for the damage to the car and the cyclists’ family, both of which they were unable to pay off, leading to their arrest.
They were in prison for only a few months before Urbanshade started the program of inviting prisoners to find the crystal in return for freedom, an offer Nials excitedly took in hopes of starting their life over again. They didn't even get to door thirty before they were attacked by a wall dweller, the blood loss causing them to fall unconscious. The wall dweller caused serious damage to their PDG, cutting HQs connection to the weapon attached to it. Nials being seen unconscious in a puddle of blood by the CCTV footage led HQ to assume they were dead, prompting them to claim them legally KIA. Only after they were proclaimed dead did she wake up confused by their surroundings. Due to the damage to their PDG, HQ couldn't kill them themself, so they let them be under the assumption they'd die soon anyway.
Nials gained the affection and trust of Sebastian and P.ai.nter relatively easy, all things considered, most likely due to the fact they obviously couldn't harm either of them, even if they tried to. Nials and Sebastian formed a symbiotic relationship, that being that Nials gives Sebastian any research they find, and in return, they can take and use any of what he sells whenever they need it and don't have to pay upfront. Without anything else to do, Nials assists other Expendables sent down, guiding them through trickier areas to the best of their ability.
Nials is good-hearted; however, they're often described as loud and slightly stuck-up by others. They're kind and as helpful as they can be, but they have a bad habit of refusing to acknowledge when they're wrong and is terrible at taking accountability. They're also a bit of a perfectionist, and lack a filter, leading to them often making unprompted comments about others’ appearances or behaviors, which is often seen as quite annoying.

— Doesn't have a label for their sexuality exactly simply because they don't feel like giving themself one, however, they are certainly not straight. [ they have a girlfriend, who's another oc of mine LMAO ]
— Their family and name originates from Scotland/Ireland, however, Nials was born in the USA and therefore doesn't have a heavy accent.
— A part of their head damage makes it so they have a hard time falling asleep, however, once they are asleep, not even a gunshot can wake them up. It's often concerning, though it is one of the reasons Seb learned to trust them. They can't wake up and ambush attack him if not even a triple barrel shotgun going off can wake them up once they're asleep.
— P.ai.nter once taught them how to draw b00bs as a joke.
— They're very physically affectionate to the point it's a fault. They used to jump on Seb to greet him with a hug. That stopped after a good bitch slap.
— Their parents used to take them to church but they lacked the connection to the religion/God, so they spent most of the time praying thinking about random kid shit like mermaids.
— Undiagnosed schizophrenic. They've always had it but it got severely worst after the car accident. They often hear and see things that aren't really there and it leads them to do alot of things, including once impulsively killing themself with the Redeemer [ hallucinating the Hanger ]. Luckily these thoughts haven't extended to them wanting to hurt others yet.
— Voice claim : Alternate Universe Jinx/Powder [ Arcane ]
— The black ribbon/bow in their hair is a must for their design. No matter the outfit, it must be present.
Now to set up boundaries from the get-go. The chances of anything like this happening is highly unlikely, I'm aware, but I still want it to be out there.
— Do NOT ship Nials with your OC, or at least if you do, do not post it in a space where I will see it. You are welcome to draw her interacting with your OCs, however I am not comfortable with them being shipped with anyone other than their girlfriend, who is another OC of mine. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable.
— Fanart is incredibly welcome of Nials, in fact I'd love to receive it!! If you make fanart of them, please tag me in it!! That being said, nothing of her in inappropriate outfits/positions. I think you know what I mean by this.

You are not truly a fan of a character if you cannot except their faults. If you fangirl over their character while sweeping their issues and negative traits under the rug you are dumbing down the character and refusing to accept the character as they truly are. You are not a fan of your character, you are a fan of who you want your character to be and the image you make up of them in your head.

Update : I've played Dandys World now and I must say I'm not a big fan of the game itself [ I find it mildly boring and tedious ] but I LOVE THE FANDOM like the animations yall come up with and the memes LMFAOOOOOO I love you guys please never stop making videos
