For the past few years after airing and reaching 6k views this mix got been blocked worldwide, I just kind of accepted it for what it was. Today i filed a dispute to try and reclaim the video. I have no idea if it will work but YT has allowed the video to be public again while it is under review. I don't know how long this video was blocked due to video content I used. I only noticed it this past week. I had to cut out the first song in the mix. I had no other recourse but to do it so it could become public again. Trying to fight a claim against a major distributor might have caused it to never be able to be seen again and I didn't want to reupload it because then all the views and comments would be gone. I hate it, it fuks up the flow of the mix, tho I suppose to most it will go unnoticed. I am well aware that most of my content is sourced material, but that can be said for over 80% of the music videos, trailers, movie scenes ect on this platform. I hate it here sometimes. I have put so much time and effort into this channel and videos can be gone in an instant due to restrictions. Its just one more thing to discourage me from not want to make more videos. My screwed up witch mix that some of you may remember has been blocked worldwide was well. Its possible i will try to re-edit that one down because it was one of my favorites. sorry for the long rant, i know Ive been quiet for some months. I've thought about the future of this channel over the past year. I tried to remain optimistic after my anniversary and having the chance to perform on stage, but I'm not a DJ and I struggle to find motivation to do any editing these days. I use to release 5 videos a week now its only 5 a year. I haven't kept up with what's currently going on in the scene and the content I've post isn't that different then anywhere elsewhere you'll find on YouTube. I think some of these feelings may be attributed to the fact that I will be 40 next year and I've accomplished nothing in life outside of this channel, this is my legacy. But now it's become an abandoned shrine, a relic to a once glorious era and I'm not sure what I have left to offer here anymore.
