Today, I stood in the shadow of the Temple of Olympian Zeus, a majestic reminder of ancient times when humanity honored the divine masculine as a force of strength, protection, and creation. As I gazed upon the towering columns, I couldn't help but reflect on what Zeus representsâthe archetype of leadership, power, and divine authorityâand how far our modern world has strayed from embodying the true essence of this energy.
In ancient Greece, Zeus was the father of gods and men, a protector and a ruler who upheld justice and balance. While the myths often highlight his flaws, his role as the archetypal divine masculine endures: to serve, protect, and uplift. These qualities are desperately needed in our timeânot as outdated notions of patriarchy but as the pure, sacred masculine that complements and supports the divine feminine.
As a sex priestess, I honor both the divine feminine and masculine.
