“Heaven” as a concept is applied to this body of work. I am committed to the belief that music can take you beyond the limitations of the physical world. She is the lighthouse. When I wrote this record there were so many impossible odds that the word “impossible” started to feel less and less impervious and more like a veil I could sing through. Each song was a stone in my hand I would drop into the darkness. How far? I would listen for it to stop falling, then I would move a little closer, the liminal space closed in. Eventually I was here at the end. It’s all more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. Thank you to everyone who has been my friend, advocate, listener, champion, sister, brother, Mother Mary AMEN!!! LET THE CHOIR SING 💋⚡️🕊🎈

The last few weeks have been back to back rehearsals with my new band. Spirits have been high in the room just trying to focus on the bliss that live music bring into all of our lives while at the same time considering the state of our world. We can’t wait to play for you, the songs are sounding tight, particularly “Girls” with Ellie on bass and the “Hypnotic/1965” 90’s grunge medley. It’s cool. Getting close to hitting the road and I’m a whole flurry of emotions 💫🐇💫.
