My dear subscribers.
Recently my channel has grown a little and I started to receive more comments. I am very happy with the feedback, your comments are very inspiring to me.
However, I would like to clarify the questions I have started to receive.
I live in a country where it is not safe to openly express your opinion, over the past 3 years it has become common for Russians to speak in vague terms, and no one questions it, because everyone is in the same situation and understands the reasons.
But I forget that this is not the case with foreigners, they do not understand that I cannot pronounce certain words, because if I do, I can go to prison. I cannot use the word "war", so I say "current situation". I cannot openly express my attitude.
However, I do not treat badly to Ukrainians, Ukraine and Ukraninan culture. And even for these words I can get into trouble, but I would rather say it than continue to receive misunderstanding. Half of my family is of Ukrainian origin, and it's very typical for Russuan and Ukrainian families to have common relatives.
And also, Russian and Ukrainian cultures are historically very closely intertwined it's been happening during ages. And when I call some things Russian, and you tell me that they are Ukrainian, it is not because Russians want to steal culture from Ukrainians, Russia has enough culture, I certainly do not want that.
There are simply things that have been present in Russian culture for centuries from the closest neighboring countries, and therefore Russians perceive them as part of it too. I understand that now from the outside this may be incomprehensible, but it is very difficult for me morally to receive such comments from people who are most likely not aware of this specificity, because I percive it a forbade to talk about something, which was part of my culture during the whole of my life. But if you feel calmer thinking that I am wrong, fine, let it be.
I live every day in stress from the internal tightening situation. Literally just now I read the new law on fines for searching for "unreliable information" on the Internet and advice on safe search of information on the Internet, which, in addition to everything else that already exists, also need to be remembered. And then I hear about the next sanctions, which will absolutely not affect 1% of the main people of Russia, they live as well as before, but affect the lives of ordinary people, like me. And then about where someone again blames ordinary residents of Russia for what is happening. And then about the fact that I somehow formulated something incorrectly on the topic of Ukraine.
It is very difficult to constantly receive these jabs both inside your country and from outside at once, without any semblance of a ray of light and with the feeling that you can’t even complain, because you are Russian, and all Russians are aggressors, because they Russians, or/and live in Russia.
I understand that residents of Western countries will not understand all these nuances, but I ask you to understand me.
Thank you all for your support, and I beg your pardon for this emotional text, but literally today I had another nervous breakdown due to stress, including the current situation in Russia, and I cried almost the entire day, and then it is very hard for me to receive comments where I formulated something incorrectly, or that I cannot complain because I am Russian and from Russia and my problems are insignificant against the background of what is happening.
I do not delete any comments, except that sometimes YouTube blocks them for trigger words, I think it is important to have the opportunity to express your opinion, but that is why I am expressing it here now.
As I said in one of the videos, the Russian Internet is very harsh, and Russians would now tell me: "This is the Internet, people can easily tell you here "Go, f**k yourself" what were you expecting for." But I want to whine a little and convey at least my position, which may not be clear.
