Silver has an odd number of protons (47), so there's no element that's exactly half of silver, but Chromium with its 24 protons is pretty close, plus one of Chromium's stable isotopes (Cr-54) has half as many neutrons as one of Silver's stable isotopes (Ag-107). So maybe a Chromium play button is in order? Certainly something to think about.

Japan has a brand new island! Lying less than a mile off the coast of Iwo Jima (Ioto), this new island was formed by an erupting volcano, but researchers think it may erode into the sea if the eruption doesn't grow it further.
