You guys...I can't do it π I'm not going to be able to complete Nailtober every day of this month. However, that doesn't mean I'm not going to be doing it at aaaalllll, just not every day.
I really wanted to be able to be productive every single day and be on top of everything, but I realize now that it wasn't realistic to do so and be in a positive frame of mind and take care of myself at the same time.
But that's OK! I kept telling myself that I was just being lazy and that I'd be a quitter if I didn't complete it; but that's not true. It's ok to realize that something is too much to handle and put yourself and other things first, and I'm slowly learning that. I just wanted to share this with you guys incase any of you also needed to hear it. (Pertaining to anything in life, not just Nails lollll)

π€DO NAILTOBER WITH ME!!!!! π€
Ok, let me explain. So basically... I used to be really involved with the art community, and one of the BIGGEST events of the year (all the artists love) is INKTOBER! During the entire month of October, artists create an artwork in ink every. single. DAY.
I usually look forward to participating, but this year I knew that I wouldn't be able to balance everything else in my life, plus youtube, PLUS inktober. But then I had a brilliant idea... NAILTOBER!!!! LET'S DO NAIL ART EVERY DAY OF OCTOBER!!
So here are the rules: oh wait...there are none. LOL This is not a competition; this is just for you to have fun practicing nail art! Challenge yourself, but you're not allowed to stress out. YOU HEAR ME?! no. STRESS.
But let me tell you what I will be doing. Every day of the month of October (to the best of my ability lol) I am going to upload a short of my process doing nail art on a single stiletto swatch stick. The prompt list attached to this post corresponds to the prompt that will inspire each day's nail art. On Halloween, I plan to upload a full video doing a set inspired by the nail art I made during the month.
I told Β @emilygutierreznailsΒ β here on YouTube about my idea, and she loved ittt!!(I mean who woulldddnn'ttt? come on now.) So we partnered up to come up with this list of prompts and going on this journey of spooky nail art π»
