Shiny new alternator, tensioners, pulley's, belts, and water pump. The bodgery found on this engine has been nothing short of shocking. From broken plastic in the intercooler pipes, bent power steering pipes, to cross threaded bolts on the subframe. Clearly going to need a steam clean you can see the Spanish red water / silt caked on the lower part of the engine.

Factor 55 hawse fairlead and a Prolink hook, in red, of course. This matches the factor 55 rear tow bar recovery hook, already installed on the L322. Yes, project L322 winch, has begun.

L322 update. Water leaks, both turbos blown, oil in the intercooler, a frayed negative / ground cable, injector blown, new glow plugs, injectors without copper washers, oh, and a rear subframe bushing has collapsed. Life with a 12 year old L322 with 151K miles on the clock. Positives, at least these faults will be fixed and it 🤞🏻 be good for another 100K miles.

A channel that loves traveling and overlanding, and driving both on and off the road and trails in a fully equipped 2010 Range Rover Autobiography Black TDV8 4.4
I love nothing better than planning a trip, packing the L322 and heading off to explore new lands, trails and experience scenery 99% of the population will never witness. Being with nature, testing the vehicle on all types of terrain, utilizing all the gear and equipment to its fullest, and coming home to plan more modifications to make life overland, better.
The objective of the channel is to share those travels and adventures, as well as reviewing the gear used on those trips.
The purpose of this channel is to help you find the information you need for equipping your 4WD to go explore, the trails to find and explore, the upgrades you may want to consider for your vehicle, ultimately, having a great time.
Thank you! - Explore your world.
