@FordBossMe tried to pull the turbo from the top on my ‘14 escape 2.0L and well that didn’t work out but I was able to turn up the turbo exhaust housing to see the waste gate valve and long story short it is stuck closed. My understanding is that it should only be shut closed when there is a vacuum on the diaphragm and it pulls the rod to shut the waste gate? Is my understanding correct and if it is can I replace just the diaphragm or do I need to replace the entire turbo assembly? I’ll make a quick video in the morning to show where I am at in this process. I appreciate any advice you have on the subject!
