Fluffy Dragons from @lamfgames is in its final hours on Kickstarter! 🐉 It’s a surprisingly great introduction to bluffing, hand management, and a healthy dose of “take that” mechanisms.
Quick games that take 30 mins or less are critical for us, and Fluffy Dragons fits the bill. Cute pieces, interactive gameplay, and a relatively short play time? Sounds like a great fit for Little Big Thumbs!

🧩 What's the ideal puzzling piece count for kids?
We recently received a bundle of CoraQuest goodies for review, and I'm thinking that putting together this 250-piece puzzle might be the perfect introduction to the world of West Orcshire!
When we visit toy and game stores, it's always 1000-piece puzzles as far as the eye can see. But for us, 250 pieces makes for the perfect pre-bedtime activity.

Can of Worms recently arrived from @FoxMindToysGames, and it's turned out to be a lovely little treat of a game! 🪱🥫 Little Bean has been advised to work on her block counting, so this game couldn't have shown up at a better time.
To keep everyone on their toes, this cute math game also has some fun push-your-luck AND memory elements, with worms of various lengths hiding in the can lid. For instance, if we're looking to pull a total length of 7, and our first worm is 5 sections long, we're asking ourselves if we want to risk an extra pull to hopefully score a point, or do we pass the buck to the next player?
To make this game extra special for me, it's designed by Mary Jo Reutter - the mind behind one of my all-time favourite dexterity games, Sumo Ham Slam!
We're going to be showing this one to the Grade 1 teachers at school, and adding Can of Worms to our travelling kids collection for community events. It's great fun, with a sneaky side of learning thrown in!
