Examples of the work done in the Control and Robotics Lab at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), Montreal, Canada. The ÉTS is one of the largest engineering schools in Canada (7 600 students). One engineer out of four in the province of Quebec has a degree from the ÉTS.
We work in the field of precision robotics (e.g., robot calibration), collaborative robotics, parallel robots and haptics. Our lab is equipped with more than a dozen industrial robots from ABB, KUKA, FANUC, and Motoman, several collaborative robots (UR5 and UR10 from Universal Robots, Baxter from Rethink Robotics, and Nextage from Kawada), R&D robots (robot arm from Kinova, youBot from KUKA), a five-axis machine tool, and various metrology instruments (laser tracker, optical trackers, laser interfefometers, etc.).
