Larger Australian towns have "Men's Sheds" women are welcome as well. They are, take and make places that have a wide variety of tools. Projects from stained glass windows to making huge projects are possible. When I was there Reg showed me stained glass projects, benchmarking, lamp making, refinishing projects, along with a computer driven lathe cutting inserts for a plaque. I was given a gift sign that says "S*** happens" There are over 1,600 Men's Sheds across Australia.

Yesterday I drove to an artesian hot pool in Lightning Ridge Australia.
I learned there are several different types of opals  Black Opals, Boulder Opals, White Opals, Crystal Opals, and Opal Black Opals, Boulder Opals and Opal Doublets and Triplets. 97% of the world supply of opals comes from Australia I stopped to look at foundry falls as well.

Got tired of the coast plus bad weather was moving in. So I decided to begin exploring inland. Starting with "Waterfall Way." I was disappointed, with the name such as Waterfall Way you expect to see lots of waterfalls. That was not the case. I saw three waterfalls. They were pretty but there were only three. Not to mention the road was really rough. Lots of potholes. The advantage is it gave me an opportunity to hone my skills of knowing where my tires were to avoid the holes.

Spent a fun filled day at the Sidney zoo. It's built on a hillside so I got a good cardiovascular workout as well. The zoo is well maintained and animals are accessible.

My Lord of the Rings tour LOTRs
Filming location of Kawarau River used to film Argonath with the 3 giant statues. Interesting fact. Each face is modeled from a real person. Jackson's Dad, a close relative LOTRs fan and the far onr is Jackson's face.
