Coming this week; my demo for the incredible second release from Kinotone Audio....Sparks.
This pedal is like a CBA Condor on steroids! You get overdrive, wave-folding distortion, HP/BP/LP filtering, modulated parameters, dynamically controlled parameters, a noise gate...plus momentary activation, on-board presets, TRS stereo in/out, MIDI, expression control, and even a MIDI controlled synth! 🤯
This demo is gonna be a long one, so bear with me...

These kinds of videos never attract a lot of views, but they're a lot of fun to make and I think it's a nice change of pace from just uploading demo videos all the time.
I'm planning to make this new series a bi-monthly thing, with a 30-45 minute casual interview with someone interesting from the pedal community, every couple of weeks or so.

This is what happens after I spend 4 months clearing my PayPal Credit account: I go on yet another, interest free, pedal buying frenzy! 😝
The CXM 1978 is obviously the most significant of these purchases, and I'm eager to test it against my Ventris and RV-200 to see if the insanely high price is warranted or not... 🤔
I've been after the MXR M305 Tremolo for a long time, as it just seems really impressive and fully featured for such a compact pedal. Plus, MXR consistently impress me with their designs and I'm confident that this one will be no different.
The Habit has been on my radar ever since it came out, and seems to be the ultimate digital delay / looper for all those classic, Robert Fripp style, sound-on-sound, "Frippertronics".
And the Empress Superdelay was a totally unplanned, spontaneous addition to my pedal haul, as I've been keeping an eye out for one of these to A/B with my Chase Bliss Reverse Mode C, which was inspired by the specific mode on the Superdelay that shares its name.
I got crazy good deals on all of these, so once I've filmed all the videos I want with them, I'll be ready to move them on again...hopefully for a nice, tasty profit! 😎
