In the summer of 2010, I returned to Northwest Montana to teach part-time K-8 music, band, and choir at Marion School in Marion, where I also taught computer technology. I formerly also taught PE for a year and was the school counselor for five years. I have also taught music in five other regional schools and also was the school counselor at one of those.
I barely teach in my Klassy Music Studio in the front West room on the ground floor of my home, just Southwest of downtown Kalispell. Despite bad health and disability/early retirement, I serve as a rotational worship accompanist on piano and have served in that capacity or greater in four other nearby churches.
Until recently, I was singing tenor in the Valley Voices Community, for which I have also been president and section leader and was proud to be the interim artistic director in the Fall of 2013. Up until a few years ago, I was also an auditioned 2nd tenor and occasional accompanist for the Glacier Symphony and Chorale.
