Well it has been one of those weeks where things have not cooperated. I have been out three times to try to get content for a video this week and have not had much luck on any occasion. As a result of that, and to only upload the best content I can, there will be no video this week. Below is one of the few photos I was able to get while I was out. I was out at the Grasslands trying to find a Northern Harrier before they migrate north and didn't have luck, but I did find this bluebird foraging. Have a Great week everyone!

This week I got a little behind on work but a new video will be out tomorrow where I photograph hooded mergansers. These diving ducks are one of my favorites and I was able to get some great photos and videos of them. Hope you can tune in to see it!

The video for this week is little delayed! Last weekend I had a great encounter with a barred owl in a beautiful forest and I am still working on putting the video together to make it just right! I am planning for it to be released next Wednesday and be back on the weekly schedule after that! Thanks for your patience! Below are a few photos from the encounter!

Hello everyone, no new video this week! However, I will be heading down to get footage of shore birds at the end of this week, so be on the lookout for a video featuring that in the future.

Sorry everyone, no new video this week. I am working on a video of a Barred Owl family however the owlets have not been very cooperative so far. I located some owlets in an area where I had found a family last year so now it just a matter of waiting for the birds to come down a little lower to get some good photos. Here is a photo of an adult from last year which was feeding their young in the same area I found them this year. Hopefully they will cooperate in the next couple of days to be able to bring this video to you next week! See you then!

I am a full time nature and wildlife photographer focusing on the variety of species of birds and mammals found in New England. It is my goal to share my experiences and knowledge with you about these many species so that we can work together to protect them for the future. Please join me in my journey to find and photograph the common and rare animals that live in this amazing area of the country.
I have a degree in fisheries and wildlife science from Oregon State University where I took many courses in ornithology, mammalogy, and ecology. I take the knowledge that I gained with this degree out into the field with me and I share this knowledge in my videos with you to help explain the behavior and needs of the animals that live in this area. I hope to spread an understanding of wildlife so that we can better be appreciate them and learn to coexist. I will be thrilled to have you along for the journey!
