Frenchcore is a subgenre of hardcore that originates from France. It is characterized by fast tempos (typically around 200 BPM) and distinct, distorted basslines. Frenchcore often includes melodic elements and specific rhythmic structures that distinguish it from other hardcore subgenres. Compared to other hardcore genres, Frenchcore has a more "euphoric" and "danceable" sound, while still being very intense and energetic.
