I put up this channel for the fans that have asked me over the years to upload my shows from HOT 97 that aired from 1989 to 1993. The Friday Night Hotmix aired from 8:00 til Midnight along with the man FAST FREDDIE COLON! Thanks! to all the fans that sent these tapes and supported HOT97!
I used Pro Tools Session 8 and a Tascam Reel to Reel to created the Razor edits and remixed 90% of the tracks I used in the mix. I recorded many live sets.... It was very difficult to mix Freestyle into House into Pop and back but got creative and made it work for the station.
I was limited to a format geared toward HOT97. If anyone has my DAT TAPES from HOT97??? Please contact me through this portal.
