Flagged off the Saree Run at Shalini Grounds this morning, where about 9,500 women came together to champion fitness and Nari Shakti.
It was wonderful to see participants ranging from ages 8 to 80 years take on the spirit of health and empowerment in the 3K and 6K run categories.
Grateful to be part of this fantastic initiative of Jayanagar Jaguars, who completed their 9th edition and are now expanding the event to five more cities —aiming to inspire over 1 lakh women across India.
Also present was Jayanagar MLA Sri @CKRBJP.

Participated in the stroke awareness walk organized by Apollo Hospitals, Jayanagar, this morning at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium along with MLA Sri @CKRBJP.
The initiative focuses on the prevention of the occurrence of strokes by encouraging people to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Was great to see the enthusiasm from the participants for the awareness walk.

Today, handed over scholarship cheques to over 200 bright, underprivileged children through the NaMo Vidyanidhi Scholarship program at MLA & LOP Sri R Ashoka BJP’s office.
Proud to share that, in this round of the drive, about 25% of the scholarships are awarded to children raised by single parents.
Our Vidyanidhi family continues to grow, with over 2,000 scholarships granted so far, bringing education closer to those in need.

Participated in the trial run of extended Green Line metro till Madavara. As a citizen myself, I fully understand that daily commuters don’t bother about any VIP ceremony, and hence, have pushed in my own right to get done with such formalities with no fanfare as much as possible.
This particular extension of #GreenLine has highlighted, once again, all that needs to be fixed in our Public Infrastructure Project Planning and Delivery.
New India cannot understand the inordinate delay to complete the project, and further delay to get the operations started.
It is a reminder to the Bureaucratic System that in New India, the pace of project execution has to keep pace with aspirations of new, young India.
In my multiple calls through the bureaucratic hierarchy to fasten the approvals, I have realised that even when the officials are supportive of early commencement of operations, our system processes itself are highly inefficient.
The onus to eliminate unnecessary procedures also vests with the same Administration.
I hope that the extended services provide some respite to Metro users, and also hope Bureaucracy gets the pulse of New India and starts delivering projects on time and with efficiency.

Have written to the Chairperson of the JPC on Waqf Amendment Bill Shri Jagdambika Pal Ji, drawing attention to the plight of farmers from Vijayapura District & other areas in the vicinity in Karnataka, who have been wrongfully served notices claiming their land as Waqf property.
Apart from the notices, changes have been made in the RTC, pahani and mutation registers for some of the land parcels without following the due process of law.
Requested him to invite a delegation of these farmers as witnesses before the committee and also to visit the affected areas for a public hearing to understand the scale of this issue firsthand.

The Ironman 70.3 Goa, known for attracting athletes from over 50 countries, has become a premier event for athletes and fitness enthusiasts in India and across the World.
The challenge involves a 1.9km swim, a 90km cycling segment, and a 21.1km run, covering a total distance of 113km. This is the ultimate test of one’s endurance, and physical and mental fitness.
Over the last 4 months, I have trained rigorously to improve my fitness and as a result, am happy to share that I have completed this challenge!
The inspiration itself goes back to #FitIndia initiative kickstarted by PM @NarendraModi ji, which helped me reflect on my fitness goals. As a young nation chasing big ambitions, we must nurture our physical fitness and become a more healthier nation. An endeavour to become fit also makes you more disciplined and confident, which improves chances of your success in any venture that you undertake.
#FitIndia movement goes a long way in increasing this awareness and bringing more people on to fitness routines, that’s so essentially needed for our nation!
As a finisher in this daunting challenge, I can attest to the young folks that fitness goals really push your boundaries, and make you a better individual. I appeal all fence sitters and perpetual planners to hop onto this journey and make progress!
