Tomorrow I'll be posting my last video shot in 2019. It's all 2020 from here. Last year in December I was getting stoked about hitting 2,000 subscriptions. Yesterday I hit 25,000 . It's been a great year and I owe it all to you guys and the algorithm. This upcoming year I've got plans to visit some rad locations and also shake up my video edits and production quality. Anyway, thanks again to all you amateur fans you keep me motivated.

I could sense a little Haute fatigue so I'm saving the last day of the Haute Route for next time. In its place I'm going to post tomorrow the highly requested Maroon Bells Traverse. We did this traverse October 1st and we couldn't have had a better day. Also, during the filming of this episode we ran into Paul who was out on his own adventure. Meeting a fan of the channel is always an awesome bonus.

First of all, thank you. I appreciate all of you taking the time to watch these videos. Whenever I meet one of you on the trail or in the airport I often here you talk about motivation and I have to tell you, you viewers motivate me. Don't get me wrong I love making videos but I love it even more when others enjoy them. And that motivates me when I'm sleeping alone in the back of my car on an empty mountain road or when I'm constantly texting others to send me their footage. Anyway, I've finally gotten around to creating a channel where I will be reviewing gear and a place where you can contribute to the Mediocre cause. Links to Extra Mediocre and my Patreon page can be found in the top right hand of this page, I think? New episode in the morning. Don't worry this Haute Route business will soon be over and Maroon Peak will be up next.
